The Milwaukee Bucks have been linked to Sacramento Kings guards Zach LaVine and Malik Monk, Dallas Mavericks big man Anthony Davis and Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr., according to NBA insider Sam Amick of The Athletic.

The Bucks are looking to make trades to surround superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo with more talent.

“They’ve been tied to several players, with the Sacramento Kings’ Zach LaVine and Malik Monk among them,” Amick wrote. “As of early this week, league sources say there were no active talks on that front. The Bucks registered interest in the Dallas Mavericks’ Anthony Davis as well, though it appears there’s no realistic pathway to a deal there. They’re also believed to be among the many teams with interest in the Brooklyn Nets’ Michael Porter Jr.”

The Bucks are 16-21 on the season. They are in 11th place in the Western Conference standings.

LaVine is making $47.5 million this season, Monk is making $18.8 million, Davis is making $54.1 million and Porter Jr. is making $38.3 million.

The Bucks won the 2021 championship against the Phoenix Suns in six games. Since then, Milwaukee has won just one playoff series and Antetokounmpo has grown tired of losing.

However, the NBA legend plans to remain loyal to the Bucks.

“I am not (going anywhere),” Antetokounmpo said. “I am invested in this team. I want to turn this team around. I want to play good basketball. I want to be healthy. I want to help my teammates. I wanna win games. The last six games we’ve played, we’re 4-2. We have a lot of games in front of us. I’m locked the f— in. I’m locked in. My priority is just staying healthy.”

Antetokounmpo is making $54.1 million this season. He has a player option worth $62.8 million for the 2027-28 season. The future Hall of Famer doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract.
