The Cleveland Cavaliers are trading De’Andre Hunter to the Sacramento Kings, according to NBA insider Shams Charania of ESPN.

It’s a three-team deal with the Chicago Bulls.

The Cavaliers are acquiring Dennis Schröder and Keon Ellis from the Kings, who are sending Dario Šarić and two future second-round picks to the Bulls.

To create room for Šarić, Chicago is waiving Jevon Carter.

Hunter is making $23.3 million this season. He’ll make $29.4 million next season in the final year of his contract. The Cavaliers acquired the swingman from the Atlanta Hawks last season. Hunter appeared in 70 games with Cleveland.

Schröder is making $14.1 million this season. The Kings acquired the guard from the Detroit Pistons last offseason in a sign-and-trade deal worth $44 million. Cleveland is Schröder’s 11th NBA team.

Finally, Ellis is making $2.3 million this season in the final year of his contract, while Šarić is making $5.4 million in the final year of his contract.

Hunter holds career averages of 14.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game with the Hawks and Cavaliers; Schröder has career averages of 13.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game with the Hawks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Pistons and Kings; Ellis holds career averages of 6.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game with the Kings; Šarić has career averages of 10.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game with the Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Thunder, Warriors, Denver Nuggets and Kings.

The Cavaliers are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings, the Bulls are in ninth place in the East and the Kings are in last place in the West.
