The Moody Center serves as the home arena for the University of Texas at Austin’s men’s and women’s basketball programs. Tickets for the May 3 game are available at Ticketmaster.com. Presale for Wings Season Ticket Members begins Wednesday, March 11. General public on-sale begins Friday, March 13.

Las Vegas Aces Routed Dallas Wings at Notre Dame in 2025 Preseason

The two teams met in the preseason a year ago, with Las Vegas hosting Dallas at Notre Dame’s Purcell Pavilion in South Bend, Ind. The Aces rolled to a 112-78 victory in the first preseason game of the 2025 WNBA season.

Jackie Young led all scorers with 28 points and added nine assists. Forward A’ja Wilson posted 19 points, and guard Jewell Loyd added 10. Off the bench, rookie Aaliyah Nye scored 17 points, Chelsea Gray added 13, and Tiffany Mitchell contributed 10. Guard JJ Quinerly led Dallas with 16 points.

Notre Dame Ties Added Storyline to 2025 Matchup

The South Bend setting carried significance for several players. Young played at Notre Dame from 2016 to 2019, winning an NCAA championship in 2018. She earned ACC Tournament MVP honors, was named to the All-ACC Second Team, and received AP All-America honorable mention as a junior.

Loyd suited up for the Fighting Irish from 2012 to 2015, helping lead Notre Dame to three consecutive NCAA Final Fours. She earned All-America recognition twice during her collegiate career. Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale, who played at Notre Dame from 2015 to 2019, also returned to familiar ground for the contest.

The May 3 matchup at the Moody Center gives Dallas another opportunity to build chemistry ahead of the regular season opener.
