Dallas Wings Triple Local TV Reach for 2025 Season With Expanded Broadcast Deals

The Dallas Wings will triple their local television footprint for the 2025 WNBA season, expanding their free over-the-air reach to 6.3 million households across 12 Texas markets, the team announced.

The expansion follows an exclusive broadcast partnership formed in February with TEGNA’s KFAA in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Additional deals with Gray Media and Corridor Television will bring Wings broadcasts into homes in cities including Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and more.

“As we prepare for one of the most anticipated seasons in franchise history, we are excited about the opportunity to deliver Dallas Wings basketball into more homes than ever before,” Wings CEO and Managing Partner Greg Bibb said. “Our partners at TEGNA, Gray, and Corridor recognize the incredible demand there is to watch our games and have done a fantastic job in helping us secure additional markets to reach even more of our passionate fanbase.”

The announcement comes after Dallas selected UConn star Paige Bueckers with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. Bueckers’ arrival is expected to generate a significant boost in viewership and fan engagement.

TEGNA stations will carry games in key regions such as Houston (KTBU), Waco-Killeen (KCEN/KAGS-LD), Tyler-Longview (KYTX), Midland-Odessa (KWES), Abilene (KXVA), and San Angelo (KIDY). Gray Media will air games in Lubbock (KMYL), Amarillo (KFDA), and Sherman (KXII). Corridor Television will carry broadcasts in San Antonio and Austin through KCWX.

“We’re proud to bring the energy of one of the WNBA’s most exciting teams to fans across the region,” said Brad Ramsey, Senior Vice President of Media Operations at TEGNA. “The passion for the Wings extends well beyond Dallas-Fort Worth, and delivering games free, over- the-air, is a win for both fans and stations.”

“Gray appreciates the opportunity to work with the Wings and TEGNA to bring these exciting games to free over-the-air television in several of our Texas markets,” said Sandy Breland, Gray’s Chief Operating Officer.

“KCWX is excited to help bring Dallas Wings games to more fans than ever before,” added Carmen Tawil, Managing Partner of Corridor Television. “It’s a big moment, and we’re proud to be part of it.”
