An NBA trade idea where the New York Knicks acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks has been created.

NBA writer Grant Hughes of Bleacher Report created the following trade idea between the Knicks, Bucks and Brooklyn Nets:

New York Knicks Receive: Giannis Antetokounmpo

Milwaukee Bucks Receive: Karl-Anthony Towns, Danny Wolf, 2026 first-round swap (NYK), 2028 first-round swap (worst of NYK and BKN), 2030 first-round swap (NYK)

Brooklyn Nets Receive: Josh Hart, 2026 second-round pick (MIL via NYK), 2026 second-round pick (MIN via NYK)

Antetokounmpo is still evaluating his future with the Bucks, according to NBA insider Shams Charania of ESPN, and the Knicks have been monitoring the superstar’s situation very closely, according to NBA reporter James L. Edwards III of The Athletic.

This NBA trade idea would give the Knicks a new “Big 3” of Antetokounmpo, Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges. New York made the conference finals last season for the first time since 2000. The Knickerbockers lost to the Indiana Pacers in six games.

After the Pacers beat the Knicks, New York fired Tom Thibodeau as head coach. Mike Brown is the new coach in The Big Apple.

Antetokounmpo has spent his entire NBA career with the Bucks. The future Hall of Famer guided the franchise to the 2021 championship against the Phoenix Suns. However, Milwaukee has won just one postseason series since winning the 2021 title in six games.

One of the greatest players in NBA history, Antetokounmpo wants to win another championship. He’s a two-time MVP, a one-time Finals MVP, a one-time Defensive Player of the Year and a nine-time All-Star with career averages of 23.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.2 blocks.

The Bucks will not trade Antetokounmpo unless the forward requests to be moved. If Antetokounmpo requests a trade, the Knicks will certainly be calling Milwaukee.
