DALLAS — The Dallas Wings released their injury report Wednesday evening ahead of Thursday’s home matchup with the Las Vegas Aces at College Park Center, listing guard Paige Bueckers as probable with a left leg issue and forward Alanna Smith as probable with an illness.

Bueckers was a full participant in practice at SMU on Wednesday, while Smith did not practice, per a source.

Las Vegas listed guard Dana Evans as out for the matchup with a left leg injury.

Paige Bueckers

Bueckers has averaged 19.3 points, 5.0 assists, and 3.0 rebounds in 32.7 minutes per game through 7 appearances this season. She is shooting 52.2% from the field, 48.3% from three, and 80.6% from the free-throw line.

She is coming off a 24-point performance in Sunday’s 91-76 win over the New York Liberty at Barclays Center, finishing 7-of-13 from the field and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free-throw line in 36 minutes.

Bueckers eclipsed the 820-point, 160-rebound, and 225-assist marks in her career during that win, tying Caitlin Clark for the fastest player in WNBA history to hit those statistical totals (43 games). She is also the only player in the WNBA this season with at least 130 points, 20 rebounds, and 35 assists.

Alanna Smith

Smith has averaged 3.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 17.4 minutes per game through 7 appearances this season. She is shooting 33.3% from the field with 1.1 steals and 0.6 blocks per game.

She logged just under 15 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Liberty, finishing with 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. Smith has started all 7 games for the Wings this season at the five position, with the Wings leveraging her frontcourt versatility alongside Jessica Shepard and Awak Kuier.

If Smith is unable to play Thursday, Kuier and Shepard could absorb additional frontcourt minutes, while Maddy Siegrist and Li Yueru are natural additional options.
