According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody has been diagnosed with a torn patellar tendon in his left knee.
Moody suffered the injury on Monday (3/23) against the Dallas Mavericks.
Moody will finish this season with averages of 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 44.0% from the field, 40.1% from beyond the arc and 77.0% from the free-throw line.
The Warriors selected Moody with the 14th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Moody holds career averages of 8.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. He won the 2022 championship against the Boston Celtics.
Golden State is in 10th place in the Western Conference standings. Steve Kerr’s group will be in the NBA play-in tournament this year.
