3-Team Blockbuster NBA Trade Idea Sends Giannis Antetokounmpo From Milwaukee Bucks To Golden State Warriors

A three-team blockbuster NBA trade idea sending Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Golden State Warriors has been created.
NBA writer Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report created the following trade idea between the Bucks, Warriors and Detroit Pistons:
Golden State Warriors get: Giannis Antetokounmpo
Detroit Pistons get: Jimmy Butler, 2030 second-round pick (from GSW)
Milwaukee Bucks get: Jaden Ivey, Brandin Podziemski, Isaiah Stewart, Tobias Harris, 2026 first-round pick (from GSW), 2027 first-round pick swap (from GSW), 2028 first-round pick (from GSW), 2031 first-round pick swap (from GSW), 2032 first-round pick (from GSW)
Antetokounmpo thought about requesting a trade from the Bucks this offseason, sources told DallasHoopsJournal. Milwaukee will only trade the future Hall of Famer if he requests a trade.
Stephen Curry and Antetokounmpo are represented by Octagon. Antetokounmpo doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract.
The Bucks lost to the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the 2025 playoffs in five games. Indiana also beat Milwaukee in the first round of the 2024 playoffs in six games.
Antetokounmpo guided the Bucks to the 2021 championship against the Phoenix Suns in six games. Since then, Milwaukee has won only one playoff series.
Antetokounmpo will make $54.1 million this season. He has a player option worth $62.8 million for the 2027-28 season.
The Warriors acquired Butler from the Miami Heat last season. They lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 2025 playoffs in five games.
Golden State stunned the NBA by signing Kevin Durant in 2016. Getting Antetokounmpo from the Bucks would certainly top that.
One of the greatest players in NBA history, Antetokounmpo is a two-time MVP, a one-time Finals MVP, a one-time Defensive Player of the Year and a nine-time All-Star.
The Warriors have won four championships in the Curry era. Their last title came in 2022 against the Boston Celtics.
