The Dallas Mavericks have high trade thresholds for Naji Marshall and Max Christie, according to NBA insider Marc Stein of The Stein Line.

The Mavericks are listening to trade offers for everyone on the roster except Cooper Flagg and Kyrie Irving, sources told DallasHoopsJournal, but it will take a lot to get Marshall or Christie.

“Naji Marshall and Max Christie have emerged as prized members of Dallas’ post Luka Dončić-core alongside Rookie of the Year favorite Cooper Flagg,” Stein wrote. “I’m told that the Mavericks, as a result, have established high trade thresholds for both. (Flagg, obviously, is an untouchable.)

“When it comes to Marshall — who is in Year 2 of a rather attractive three-year, $27 million pact — Dallas is said to be unwilling to listen to any trade approaches that don’t feature a future first-round pick. And when it comes to Christie, Dallas is mostly focused on the 22-year-old earning an invite to the league’s annual 3-point contest at All-Star Weekend given his 45.5% conversion rate on nearly six 3s per game.”

The Mavericks are 19-27 on the season. They are in 12th place in the Western Conference standings.

Marshall has appeared in 46 games this season. He’s averaging 14.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game while shooting 54.5% from the field, 30.6% from beyond the arc and 78.7% from the free-throw line.

Meanwhile, Christie has played in 42 games. He’s averaging 13.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 48.3% from the floor, 45.5% from 3 and 86.3% from the foul line.

Marshall is making $9 million this season, while Christie is making $7.7 million. Neither player has a no-trade clause.

The 2026 NBA trade deadline is February 5 at 3 p.m. ET. It will be fascinating to see if the Mavericks make any trades.
