Dallas Mavericks Sign Jeremiah Robinson-Earl To Training Camp Deal

The Dallas Mavericks have officially signed forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to a training camp contract, the team announced Friday.

The deal is expected to be an Exhibit 10 contract, giving Robinson-Earl an opportunity to compete for a roster spot or join the Texas Legends, the Mavericks’ G League affiliate, if he is waived before the regular season.

Sources have told DallasHoopsJournal.com, Robinson-Earl received strong overseas interest but chose to accept a non-guaranteed offer from Dallas to remain in the NBA.

Proven Depth with NBA Experience

Robinson-Earl, 24, is a four-year NBA veteran who has played for both the Oklahoma City Thunder and New Orleans Pelicans after being selected 32nd overall in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Knicks, who made the pick on behalf of Oklahoma City.

Last season with New Orleans, Robinson-Earl appeared in a career-high 66 games, averaging 6.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in 18.8 minutes per game while shooting 34.1% from three-point range. His blend of size, rebounding, and emerging floor-spacing ability drew attention from multiple international teams this summer.

Jeremiah Robinson-Earl Joins Crowded Frontcourt

His decision adds another layer of competition to the Mavericks’ frontcourt rotation, which already features Anthony Davis, Cooper Flagg, Daniel Gafford, P.J. Washington, Dereck Lively II, and Dwight Powell.

In conversations with DallasHoopsJournal.com, multiple NBA scouts have praised Robinson-Earl’s versatility as a frontcourt player, noting that he can slide into a small-ball center role or play effectively alongside another big. His fundamentally sound approach and awareness on both ends make him a strong connective piece who can fit within different lineups. Those traits have made him a valued depth option across multiple stops early in his career.

The signing fills the Mavericks’ 21st and final training camp roster spot as the team prepares for the preseason. Dallas will evaluate its depth chart over the coming weeks before finalizing its regular-season roster.
