Dallas Wings Set For Second-Most Nationally Televised WNBA Games In 2026

DHJ Quick Take: Dallas Wings Draw Ratings Gravity

  • The “Fab Four” Matchups: The three-game series against the Indiana Fever is the crown jewel of the 2026 broadcast calendar. By pitting the last four No. 1 overall picks—Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, and Azzi Fudd—against each other on ABC, ION, and Prime Video, the league is banking on this becoming the WNBA’s premier rivalry.
  • USA Network’s Massive Stake: USA Network carrying nine Wings games is a significant shift in the broadcast landscape. As a first-year partner, they have made a heavy investment in Dallas, suggesting they view the Bueckers-Fudd tandem as a primary driver of Wednesday night viewership.
  • The “Big Four” Tier: Dallas (36 national games) now sits firmly in the elite tier of media draws alongside Indiana (44), New York (35), and Las Vegas (33). This is a direct reflection of the “Star Power” Jose Fernandez now has at his disposal.
  • The AAC Flex: Moving the Aug. 20 game against Indiana to American Airlines Center and placing it on Prime Video ensures a “Playoff Atmosphere” for a mid-August tilt that could have significant seeding implications.

ARLINGTON, Texas — The Dallas Wings will appear in 36 nationally televised games during the 2026 WNBA regular season, the second-highest total in the league and a sign of the franchise’s expanding profile heading into head coach Jose Fernandez‘s first year at the helm.

Every one of the Indiana Fever’s 44 regular-season games will be distributed on a national platform, making the team the only one ahead of Dallas on that front. Outside of Indiana, no team in the league will be on national television or streaming more often than the Wings, who are slated to appear on ABC, ESPN, CBS, NBC, Peacock, ION, USA Network, Prime Video, and NBA TV in 2026.

Dallas Wings Offseason Moves Fuel National Slate

The Wings’ jump on the national schedule follows an offseason in which Dallas added 2026 No. 1 overall pick Azzi Fudd and 2025 co-WNBA Defensive Player of the Year Alanna Smith to a core already featuring 2025 WNBA Rookie of the Year Paige Bueckers and two-time WNBA All-Star Game MVP Arike Ogunbowale.

Those additions position Dallas alongside Indiana, the 2024 WNBA champion New York Liberty (35 national games), and the defending champion Las Vegas Aces (33 national games) as the most-televised teams in the league.

Every Dallas Wings Game Against Indiana Fever Set for National Platforms

The centerpiece of Dallas’ national slate is a three-game series against Indiana, which will put the last four No. 1 overall picks on the same floor. Indiana’s Aliyah Boston (2023) and Caitlin Clark (2024) will face Bueckers (2025) and Fudd (2026) in each matchup.

All three Wings-Fever games are scheduled nationally: the May 9 season opener at Indiana on ABC, the Aug. 14 road game at Indiana on ION as part of WNBA Rivals Week presented by Ally, and the Aug. 20 home game at American Airlines Center on Prime Video.

Dallas Wings Featured Across Every National Partner

USA Network will carry the largest share of Dallas’ national slate with nine games. Prime Video and ION are each set for six, while CBS, ESPN, and NBA TV will each televise three Wings contests. ABC and NBC will each air two Dallas games, with Peacock streaming two additional matchups.

The Wings’ ABC coverage begins with the May 9 opener at Indiana, which leads off the league’s opening weekend doubleheader at 12 p.m. CT.

Dallas Wings Open 2026 Season May 9 at Indiana Fever

Dallas begins the 2026 campaign under Fernandez, hired this offseason to lead a roster that pairs back-to-back No. 1 overall picks with a veteran group headlined by Ogunbowale and Smith.

The Wings announced Tuesday that they have sold out season tickets for a third consecutive year.
