The Dallas Wings announced Tuesday that guard Grace Berger has signed a third seven-day contract. Berger will be active for the Wings’ matchup against the New York Liberty at Barclays Center, providing backcourt depth as the team continues to manage injuries and a restructured roster.

Berger initially joined Dallas on a seven-day contract in July. She’s appeared in three games with the Wings, averaging 1.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 13.0 minutes per game.

Maddy Siegrist Returns on Minutes Restriction

The Wings will also see the return of Maddy Siegrist, who is set to make her first appearance in over a month after missing 18 games due to a right knee injury. Siegrist suffered an anterolateral tibial plateau fracture in mid-June and has been ramping up her activity, culminating in a full practice session on Sunday.

“She will, yep,” head coach Chris Koclanes told DallasHoopsJournal.com when asked about Siegrist’s restriction. “I don’t have that number for you, but she will be initially on some type of minutes restriction.”

Siegrist has averaged 9.4 points and 5.2 rebounds in 11 games this season, ranking among league leaders in offensive rebounds (2.5) and second-chance points (3.5). Even in a limited role, her activity on the glass and ability to run the floor will be critical for Dallas.

Diamond Miller Set for Dallas Wings Debut

Diamond Miller, acquired from the Minnesota Lynx in the recent DiJonai Carrington trade, is also set to make her debut in a Wings uniform on Tuesday. The 6-foot-3 forward brings size, versatility, and transition ability to a wing rotation that Koclanes plans to reshape around her strengths.

“Her size and athleticism, number one, but her speed up and down the floor too,” Koclanes told DallasHoopsJournal.com. “She plays downhill, puts pressure on the rim and the paint. If we can create the right space, she’ll find opportunities to attack closeouts and get to the rim.”

Miller has appeared in 25 games this season, shooting 53.8 percent from three-point range while providing a physical defensive presence. The Wings expect her to log significant minutes once fully acclimated.

Injury Updates and Roster Moves

Dallas continues to navigate multiple injuries. Tyasha Harris (left knee) remains out for the season, while Myisha Hines-Allen (left ankle) is listed as questionable. Hines-Allen’s availability will be determined closer to tipoff after she sustained an ankle injury in Friday’s loss to Indiana.

The Wings waived Karlie Samuelson on Monday after she underwent surgery on her left foot in July. Despite the waiver, the team will oversee Samuelson’s rehabilitation into the offseason. Her departure created the roster vacancy that allowed for Berger’s third seven-day contract.

Tipoff between the Wings and Liberty is set for 6 p.m. CT at Barclays Center.
