Two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash and former U.S. tennis star John Isner will headline the first group of participants announced for the seventh annual Dirk Nowitzki Foundation Tennis Classic, which will take place Sept. 13 at Banner House at T Bar M in Dallas.

The exhibition-style fundraiser, created and hosted by the Dallas Mavericks legend, blends lighthearted competition with star power. Each year, it draws a mix of athletes and entertainers. Additional names are expected to be added to the lineup in the coming weeks.

“Tennis was my first sport, and it’s still a game I love to play,” he said. “I started this fundraiser years ago, and it’s been incredible to watch it grow into an event that not only brings the community together but also makes a real difference for children and families in need.”

Online banking company Chime will serve as the presenting sponsor for the second straight year. All proceeds will benefit North Texas organizations that support children’s health, education, and overall well-being. The Foundation awards grants annually to groups that address the needs of those affected by poverty, illness, abuse, and neglect.
