According to NBA insider Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Atlanta Hawks, Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls want to acquire Anthony Davis from the Dallas Mavericks “at a bargain.”

The Mavericks, who are listening to trade offers for Davis, will not trade the future Hall of Famer unless they get a strong return.

“From my conversations around the league, teams like Atlanta and Toronto and Chicago that have called about Anthony Davis, they want to get him at a bargain,” Fischer said. “They wanna see if they can get him for cheap. And that’s not what Dallas has any interest in doing. They wanna sell him for the type of value that Nico Harrison thought he was worth when he traded for him for Luka Dončić.”

Davis has appeared in just 14 games this season because of a left calf injury. He’s averaging 21.0 points, 11.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.6 blocks per game while shooting 51.7% from the field, 31.0% from beyond the arc and 71.2% from the free-throw line.

The Mavericks are exploring the trade markets for Davis, Daniel GaffordKlay Thompson and D’Angelo Russell, sources told DallasHoopsJournal. Davis has been in trade rumors ever since Harrison was fired as general manager.

A top 75 player of all time, Davis has played in only 23 games with the Mavericks since the blockbuster Dončić trade last season. The Brow is averaging 20.6 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.9 blocks per game in a Dallas uniform.

Davis is eligible for a four-year, $275 million maximum extension in August. The former Los Angeles Lakers big man is making $54.1 million this season. He’ll make $58.5 million next season and has a player option worth $62.8 million for the 2027-28 season.

When he’s healthy, Davis is an elite two-way force. It will be fascinating to see if the Chicago native gets traded this season. He doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract.
