How to Watch Dallas Wings vs. Atlanta Dream: Arike Ogunbowale, Paige Bueckers Aim to Extend Post-Break Momentum on Wednesday, July 30

The Dallas Wings will wrap up a stretch of three games in four days when they host the Atlanta Dream on Wednesday night at College Park Center. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CT and the game will air locally in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on KFAA29, with out-of-market streaming available via WNBA League Pass.

The Wings (8–19) are coming off a 92–82 win over the New York Liberty, their first against the defending champions since 2023. Arike Ogunbowale led the way with 20 points and a career-high 14 assists — tying the franchise single-game record and marking one of the most efficient passing performances in league history. Paige Bueckers added 20 points, and Luisa Geiselsöder contributed 14 on 6-of-9 shooting.

The Dream (15–11) arrive in Arlington on the second night of a back-to-back following a 77–75 loss to the Golden State Valkyries on Tuesday. Atlanta led 75–73 with just over three minutes to play, but did not score again. Cecilia Zandalasini’s baseline jumper with 3.9 seconds left gave Golden State the win. Jordin Canada had 21 points and eight assists in the loss, while Naz Hillmon added 14 points and eight rebounds.

Post-Break Surge: Ogunbowale-Bueckers Duo Elevating Dallas Wings

Since the All-Star break, Ogunbowale has raised her game — averaging 18.5 points and 6.0 assists on 50 percent shooting from the field and 41.7 percent from deep. Before the break, she was shooting just 34.6 percent overall. Her league-wide ranks have improved dramatically: from 139th to 31st in FG%, and 18th to 5th in assists per game.

“I feel like I’m seeing the floor a lot better,” Ogunbowale said. “Just slowing down, reading the defense, and trusting my teammates to make the right play. It’s making the game easier for all of us.”

Alongside her, Bueckers has continued to shine. The duo — dubbed “Parike” — is one of just four in the league where both players are averaging at least 17.0 points since the All-Star break. Dallas joins New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas in that elite scoring company.

“The chemistry is building every game,” Bueckers said. “It’s not always perfect, but we’re focused on communicating, finding rhythm, and making the right plays together.”

Series at a Glance: Atlanta Dream vs. Dallas Wings

Wednesday’s contest marks the third meeting of the season between the Wings and Dream. Atlanta won the opener 83–75 on May 24, while Dallas responded with a 68–55 home win on June 24 behind 21 points from Ogunbowale. The all-time series leans in Atlanta’s favor, 27–20.

The Dream nearly erased a 13-point deficit Tuesday night, reminiscent of their fourth-quarter comeback win against Golden State on July 14. Jordin Canada and Naz Hillmon have become reliable engines for the Dream offense, while Allisha Gray — who scored 12 points on Tuesday — remains a key wing threat.

Meanwhile, Dallas is riding its most cohesive stretch of the season. Monday’s win over New York featured a franchise-record 20 assists in the first half and showcased the team’s growing offensive rhythm.

“It’s game to game,” Ogunbowale said. “Wednesday’s a new challenge. We’ve got to stay present and locked in.”
