NBA superstar Luka Dončić of the Los Angeles Lakers put up a monster stat line on Thursday against the Utah Jazz.

The former Dallas Mavericks star finished with 45 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists, leading the Lakers to a 143-135 win on the road.

Dončić, though, believes he could have played better.

“I think honestly I could do so much more,” Luka Dončić said. “But I think that one turnover is the best stat-wise on this stat sheet. We had seven turnovers, which is impressive for us and we won the game.”

Dončić is putting up MVP numbers this season. He’s averaging 35.2 points (career-high), 8.8 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game while shooting 46.3% from the field, 32.4% from beyond the arc and 81.1% from the free-throw line. The future Hall of Famer leads the NBA in points per game and is sixth in total points.

“He’s just so damn good,” LeBron James said about Luka Dončić. “It’s ridiculous.”

The Lakers improved to 19-7 after beating the Jazz. They are in third place in the Western Conference standings.

James, who turns 41 soon, had a terrific game against Utah as well. The NBA legend put up 28 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists in 32 minutes.

Los Angeles is 22-10 when James and Dončić play. All the pundits who said James and Dončić couldn’t play together look pretty foolish right now.

“[He had] stretches of playing excellent, being engaged and executing our stuff defensively, and then stretches where he is not as engaged and isn’t executing our stuff defensively,” Lakers head coach JJ Redick said about Luka Dončić after the Jazz game. “But I would say that’s for everybody. I think the biggest thing, he played certainly well enough to lead us to a win. Him and LeBron with 24 assists and three turnovers [combined].”
