DALLAS — Paige Bueckers hit another career milestone in the Dallas Wings‘ 91-76 win over the New York Liberty at Barclays Center on May 24, passing the 820-point, 160-rebound, and 225-assist marks for her career.

Bueckers reached those combined totals in 43 games, tying Caitlin Clark for the fastest in WNBA history.

Paige Bueckers Continues A Record-Setting Trajectory

The milestone continues a trend that has defined Bueckers’s early career. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft has repeatedly entered the record books at a pace matching or surpassing Clark, the 2024 No. 1 pick, across various statistical thresholds since entering the league.

As a rookie, Bueckers became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 200 points and 50 assists (11 games) and the fastest to record 450 points, 100 rebounds, and 100 assists (25 games), among other marks.

Bueckers is also the only player in the WNBA this season with at least 130 points, 20 rebounds, and 35 assists through the Wings’ first 7 games. She is averaging 19.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in 32.7 minutes per game, shooting 52.2% from the field, 48.3% from three, and 80.6% from the free-throw line.

Anchoring an Elite WNBA Offense

The second-year guard has anchored a Wings offense that ranks second in the WNBA in offensive rating and leads the league in assists per game at 23.4. Dallas has recorded 164 assists through its first 7 games, the fourth-most by a team over that span in WNBA history.

Against the Liberty, Bueckers tied for the team lead with 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting, adding a season-high 6 rebounds and 2 assists in 36 minutes. She made all eight of her free-throw attempts and defended Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu on switches as the Wings held the 2024 WNBA champions to 32 second-half points.

Bueckers has taken on a more flexible role this season, moving between the point guard and shooting guard spots by matchup. After playing more off the ball as a rookie, she has handled more of the ball-handling and initiation at times in 2026.

“Every game calls for something different,” Bueckers said following Wednesday’s practice at SMU. “I love playing the point guard, I love playing the shooting guard. So to find that heavy mix of both. Some nights I might be playing more minutes at the point, some nights I might be playing more minutes at the two. To be able to adjust to that and learn how to be most efficient in both spots is what I’m trying to do.”

What’s Next

The win moved Dallas to 4-3 on the season and capped a 2-1 road trip.

The Wings return home to host the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday at College Park Center, with tip-off set for 7 p.m. CT on Prime.
