ARLINGTON, Texas — Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers leads all guards and ranks second overall in the first fan-voting returns for WNBA All-Star 2026, the league announced Wednesday.
Bueckers drew 298,027 votes, trailing only four-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, who paced all players with 308,249. An All-Star starter as a rookie last season, the 2025 WNBA Rookie of the Year has averaged 19.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 13 games this season, ranking eighth in the league in scoring.
Bueckers is one of three Wings among the top 11 vote-getters.
Jessica Shepard and Azzi Fudd Join Paige Bueckers in Top 11
Jessica Shepard sits sixth overall with 211,598 votes. The league’s leader in triple-doubles this season, Shepard has averaged 13.7 points, 11.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists in 14 games, with her scoring and rebounding both career-highs.
Azzi Fudd, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, ranks 11th among all players with 148,047 votes. Fudd has averaged 12.9 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 13 games as a rookie.
How WNBA All-Star 2026 Voting Works
Wilson and Bueckers are followed in the overall fan voting by Indiana Fever forward Aliyah Boston (282,186), New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart (255,879), and Fever guard Caitlin Clark (253,602), who round out the top five.
Fan voting accounts for 50% of the total, with current players and a media panel each contributing 25%. After all votes are tallied, players are ranked by position within each group, and the four guards and six frontcourt players with the best combined score will be named starters. The 15 head coaches then select the 12 reserves.
The fan-voting window closes Saturday, June 27. Fans with a WNBA ID can submit one ballot per day at WNBA.com or through the WNBA App, with June 17 and June 24 designated as “2-for-1 Days.”
The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game is set for Saturday, July 25 at United Center in Chicago and will air on ABC at 8:30 p.m. ET. The league said announcement dates for the starters and reserves will be shared at a later date.
