Dallas Wings Injury Report

Hines-Allen did not participate in Thursday’s practice and was seen wearing a boot on her right leg. Siegrist and Harris remain out indefinitely. The Wings’ frontcourt depth will again be tested, with Haley Jones expected to continue filling multiple roles.

Golden State Valkyries Injury Report

Arike Ogunbowale Becomes Franchise Field Goal Leader

Arike Ogunbowale led the way in Tuesday’s win with 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting and became the Wings’ all-time leader in made field goals with 1,477, surpassing Deanna Nolan. The veteran guard added three assists and three 3-pointers while playing through a left thumb injury that had limited her before the break.

“We had 25 assists or something like that. Everyone shared the ball,” Ogunbowale told DallasHoopsJournal.com. “We didn’t take tough shots — just found the open look and made the extra pass.”

Her milestone came on a mid-range jumper in the fourth quarter as Dallas pulled away. Ogunbowale already held franchise records in total points, threes made, and free throws made.

Paige Bueckers Tied WNBA History in Seattle

Paige Bueckers posted 14 points and six assists against Seattle, becoming the fastest player in league history, tied with Caitlin Clark, to reach 300 points and 100 assists, doing so in just 19 games. She shot 66.7 percent in the second half and is now averaging 18.2 points, 5.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.

“We’re not forcing anything on offense — changing sides of the floor, passing up good shots for great shots,” Bueckers told DallasHoopsJournal.com. “It’s just been great movement — with our pace and spacing.”

Bueckers has praised the team’s improved timing and spacing since the All-Star break, saying the group is starting to trust each other’s instincts more within a simplified offense.

Haley Jones Emerging as Two-Way Anchor

With Hines-Allen sidelined, Jones delivered another standout performance on Tuesday with 10 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals, and three blocks in 31 minutes. She’s averaged 11.0 points over her last two games while operating as a point forward and defensive stopper.

“They’ve trusted me in different roles — guarding bigs, pushing in transition, making plays,” Jones told DallasHoopsJournal.com. “That trust helps.”

The Wings hold a +19.1 net rating in the 104 minutes Jones has played this season — the highest of any player in the rotation.

JJ Quinerly’s Speed Giving Offense a Boost

Rookie guard JJ Quinerly had nine points, four assists, and a career-high seven rebounds against Seattle. Her ability to push the pace and collapse defenses has helped create space for Bueckers and Ogunbowale.

“She’s the quickest player on the floor on any given night,” Bueckers told DallasHoopsJournal.com. “It allows me and Arike to get some separation and not have to handle the ball 94 feet.”

Quinerly is averaging 15.0 points, 4.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game as a starter while shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from deep.

Li Yueru and Luisa Geiselsöder Building Inside-Out Balance

Li Yueru recorded eight points and a game-high 10 rebounds in her first game back in Seattle since being traded to Dallas in June. She has averaged 8.8 points and 7.4 rebounds in 12 games with the Wings, while shooting 44.4 percent from three-point range.

“I feel like the team gives me a lot of energy,” Yueru told DallasHoopsJournal.com. “They believe in me and make me feel like I can do more.”

Geiselsöder added 13 points and hit a career-best three 3-pointers on Tuesday. The frontcourt duo continues to develop chemistry, combining for 19 points and 17 rebounds in Seattle.

What’s at Stake

The Wings are seeking their first back-to-back road wins of the season and a 2–0 series lead over the expansion Valkyries. Golden State enters the matchup one spot out of the playoff picture and will look to snap a two-game skid.
