According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, the Golden State Warriors are interested in trading for Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford, Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton and Portland Trail Blazers center Robert Williams.

The Warriors, who are only 14-15, are looking for an athletic center to pair with stars Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green.

“Sources have relayed to me that a list of targets are Daniel Gafford in Dallas, Brooklyn, Nic Claxton and Portland, Robert Williams, Haynes said. “Those are three names that are on the Golden State Warriors’ list of targets to try to bring in a rim-running, block-shot defender. And listen, I was told that they are really serious.”

Gafford is making $14.4 million this season, Claxton is making $25.4 million and Williams is making $13.3 million in the final year of his contract.

Gafford signed an extension with the Mavericks in the offseason, but the veteran is widely regarded as the most tradeable Dallas player, sources told DallasHoopsJournal. The 27-year-old is averaging 8.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per game this season.

The Mavericks are exploring the trade markets for Anthony Davis, Gafford, Klay Thompson and D’Angelo Russell, sources told DallasHoopsJournal. All four players have been in trade rumors ever since Nico Harrison was fired as general manager.

Claxton is averaging 13.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game for the Nets, who are in rebuild mode. Meanwhile, Williams is averaging 5.9 points and 6.0 rebounds per game for the Trail Blazers.
