The Dallas Wings (0–4) continue their road trip on Tuesday night with a nationally anticipated matchup against the Connecticut Sun (0–4) at Mohegan Sun Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT, with the game airing locally in Dallas-Fort Worth on KFAA29 and streaming out-of-market on WNBA League Pass.

It’s a homecoming of sorts for Wings rookie guard Paige Bueckers, who returns to Connecticut for her first WNBA game in the state where she built her legendary college career. Bueckers led UConn to a national championship in April and was selected No. 1 overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft.

How to Watch

Paige Bueckers Returns to Familiar Floor

Mohegan Sun Arena holds no shortage of memories for Bueckers. From Big East Tournament titles to nationally televised showcases, the venue became synonymous with her collegiate rise. Now four games into her WNBA career, she returns with averages of 13.0 points, 6.3 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game.

“Yeah, it’s definitely different,” Bueckers said. “It’ll be weird stepping on the court, I think, not in the UConn uniform. But it’ll be something that I’ll enjoy—with a new experience and a new team, a new organization. And so it’s just like another step in the new journey.”

Battle of First-Year Head Coaches

Both Dallas and Connecticut enter Tuesday’s game winless and led by first-year head coaches. Chris Koclanes and Rachid Meziane are still navigating early-season adjustments with rosters that underwent significant changes this offseason.

Koclanes has emphasized his team’s need to “win the margins” by focusing on rebounding, spacing, and defensive consistency. The Wings’ last outing against Atlanta showed improvement in those areas, especially in the fourth quarter, when a 13–0 run cut a 20-point deficit to just five.

“There are moments where it could go either way, and every single time, this group chooses to fight,” Koclanes told DallasHoopsJournal.com after the loss. “That tells me they have something inside them that you can get behind.”

Arike Ogunbowale Eyes Bounce Back

After being held to just five points on 2-of-10 shooting in Atlanta, Arike Ogunbowale will look to rebound offensively. Despite the off night, she remains a historic figure in league history, tying Diana Taurasi as the fastest player to reach 500 made threes (198 games).

The Wings will need her scoring alongside continued production from Maddy Siegrist (12 points, nine rebounds vs. Atlanta) and NaLyssa Smith (13 points, two steals) to snap their early skid.

Dallas Wings Injury Watch

Dallas forward Myisha Hines-Allen is listed as questionable with an ankle injury. She spent most of Monday’s practice on a stationary bike and did not participate in on-court drills.

Should Hines-Allen be unavailable, look for Teaira McCowan, Maddy Siegrist, or Luisa Geiselsöder to see increased frontcourt minutes.

What’s Next

The Wings will wrap up their four-game road swing Thursday night against the Chicago Sky at Wintrust Arena. That game will air locally on KFAA29 and stream nationally on Prime Video.
