The Dallas Wings begin a two-game road trip on Sunday afternoon against the Las Vegas Aces at Michelob ULTRA Arena. Tipoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT with national coverage on ABC.
Dallas (9–25) is coming off a 97–96 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday at College Park Center. The Wings stormed back from a 16-point deficit behind Paige Bueckers’ game-high 29 points, but the rally fell just short. Las Vegas (20–14) earned an 86–83 win over the Phoenix Mercury the same night, powered by A’ja Wilson’s 30 points.
Sunday marks the fourth and final matchup between the two teams this season. The Aces have won the first three, including a 106–80 decision in Arlington on July 27.

Paige Bueckers’ Historic Pace
Bueckers continues to make history in her first WNBA season. With 29 points against the Sparks, she became the fastest rookie in franchise history to eclipse 500 points, doing so in just 27 games. She also became Dallas’ all-time rookie assists leader with 146.
Her 18.8 points per game ranks just behind Arike Ogunbowale’s rookie average of 19.1 in 2019. Bueckers now sets her sights on passing Odyssey Sims (569 points in 2014) and eventually Ogunbowale’s rookie franchise scoring record of 630.
“It’s hard to reflect when you’re in the middle of it because you’re so focused on the day-to-day,” Bueckers said. “As a team, it’s never about how many points you score, it’s about how you contribute to winning on any given night.”
Maddy Siegrist Returns Strong
Since returning on Aug. 5 from a knee injury that sidelined her for 18 games, Maddy Siegrist has quickly regained her form. She is averaging 14.8 points over her last five games while shooting above 60 percent from the field.
Siegrist matched her career high with 22 points in Dallas’ win over Indiana earlier this week and added 15 more against Los Angeles. Her expanded offensive role has provided Dallas with another reliable scorer alongside Bueckers.
JJ Quinerly Joins Record Book
JJ Quinerly joined her backcourt teammate in the record books on Friday, dishing out a career-high nine assists. She became the latest Wings rookie to tally eight or more assists in a game — all six such performances this season have come from Dallas rookies.
Quinerly is now one of just four third-round picks in league history to average at least six points and two assists while shooting over 40 percent as a rookie.
“Just my teammates,” Quinerly said. “They were moving well without the ball, and I definitely found Lou a couple times trailing at the three or popping, which she’s good at. Then just trying to figure out where the rest of my teammates are, their favorite spots on the court, where they want to shoot from, and just learning them.”
What’s at Stake
Dallas seeks to avoid a season sweep against Las Vegas and snap a three-game losing streak in the series. For the Aces, the contest offers another chance to solidify their playoff positioning with only a handful of games left in the regular season.
