The Golden State Warriors are interested in signing Stephen Curry‘s brother, Seth Curry, according to NBA insider Anthony Slater of ESPN.

Seth played for the Charlotte Hornets last season. He’s currently an unrestricted free agent.

The Warriors could sign Seth and De’Anthony Melton.

“The Warriors also have mutual interest in De’Anthony Melton and Seth Curry as bench options, sources said. Melton made quite the impression in his six games with the Warriors last season before tearing an ACL,” Slater wrote. “They like him as a backcourt fit next to Stephen Curry and have identified Seth Curry, Steph’s brother, as a needed bench shooter with an obvious family tie.”

Seth appeared in 68 games for the Hornets last season. He averaged 6.5 points while shooting 47.8% from the field, 45.6% from beyond the arc and 84.6% from the free-throw line.

Seth has played in 550 NBA games with the Memphis Grizzlies, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks, Portland Trail Blazers, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets and Hornets. He has career averages of 10.0 points while shooting 47.1% overall, 43.3% from 3 and 86.3% from the foul line.

The Warriors beat the Houston Rockets in the first round of the 2025 playoffs in seven games but lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the conference semifinals in five games. Stephen injured his left hamstring in Game 1 and missed the rest of the series.

Golden State hasn’t made any moves in free agency this offseason. The franchise is waiting for Jonathan Kuminga‘s restricted free agency to be solved first.
